Cricut Holiday 2020:
Homemade for the Holidays

During In the middle of a pandemic 2020 Holiday, companies and retailers were navigating was new territory due to the COVID-19 pandemic. for ma companies and retaiPeople were not traveling for the holidays and many people spent the holidays at home. Cricut needed to reach and sell during this time period. Thus, the challenge was to establish a campaign that would be relevant in a unique time period.

 By collecting data from Google and Pinterest we found search trends for homemade and DIY. Other research showed us that We amany people  were look to ng traditions for comfort during uncertain times. Therefore we designed the campaign, “Homemade for the Holidays.” The campaign used cozy staging and moody lighting,  creating a rich and homie vibe. We created a DIY look book with style, color, and project/gift inspiration as well as 9 DIY tasty style videos showcasing how to make the inspirational projects.

 The look book brought in customer contacts, the video’s collectively reached 10M and the ads helped reach Cricut’s holiday sales goals.
